Our new word this week is.... RESEARCH!
Research is a verb (action word) that means to investigate a subject in order to discover facts about the subject.
This week our Second Graders researched states. We went to the library to use the Internet to find facts about our state.
Leave a comment for Mrs. Walker telling something you learned in your research about your state.
Thanks for reading!

I liked to learn about New York and it was fun learning about New York. One thing I learned about is the flag of New York and the state bird which is the bluebird.
